Hey how are you? Thanks for popping by, firstly I want to point out that 90% of diets work at losing weight.  Whoa I hear you say, a fitness centre telling me that diets do work? I'll come back to that in a minute.
I'm not going to bash diets, gyms, or expensive supplements, just explain WHY they consistently fail.

What do you notice in this picture of the Macksville Falcons U12 Girls touch football team? 11 talented young girls and 2 coaches. They are a great team competing in the NSW Junior State cup today but how did they get to be so good?

I have a lot of passion for what I do these days, coaching people through transforming their lives so I thought I would share where that passion comes from, what drives me to get up every morning at 4.30 am to help someone lift some weights or get their sweat on. Why I love what I do.

Is there a difference between nutrition for weight loss and a body transformation?

Yes there is a difference. Dieting for weight loss is basically starvation, the focus is on a large calorie deficit to lose weight. The principle follows the law of thermogenesis, calories in (eating) being less than the calories out (exercise), so if you are in a deficit you will burn fat for fuel. The major problem with this approach is that the body doesn't just use fat for fuel when on a severe calorie restricting diet as I will explain below.
